One Word of Warning for Undergraduates: Plastics!

A recent study of credit card use on college campuses reveals that many students don't understand their terms and penalties.

Midwestern State University’s Kris Tilker is a professor of legal studies and business at the school’s Dillard College of Business Administration. Recently, he – along with colleagues from Texas A&M, the University of Texas-Tyler, the University of Central Oklahoma and Framingham (Mass.) State – examined financial literacy and credit card use on college campuses. TE spoke with Professor Tilker about the research that was published in the International Journal of Business and Social Science in April 2012.
